The following is a checklist of documentation required when applying to the Bible Institute of South Africa (click to download forms). Please note that applications will not be processed until all required documentation has been received.
A fully completed Application Form
Three Referee Forms - one completed by the pastor of your local church and the others by mature Christians (excluding family members) whom you know well. Testimonials from a former empolyer/teacher may be required. Only one referee form is required for the Christian Leadership Programme.
One certified and one uncertified copy of your Identity Document/Passport
Application fee of R200.00 (Full-time or Distance Learning programmes) or R20.00 (Christian Leadership programme)
Full-Time Programmes:
One certfied and one uncertified copy of your school leaving certificate and subsequent qualifications, and of trancripts of University/Technikon studies.
A completed North-West University registration form (to be sent to us)
A completed Medical Health Report. For foreign applicants: Upon application for a study visa, the Department of Home Affairs will require you to submit a general certificate of health; a copy of this certificate must be submitted to the college.
Completed Application for Accommodation, if applicable
A letter from your sponsors if you are not personally responsible for your fees
Foreign students must approach the South African authorities in their country of origin in order to obtain a study permit. This can only be done once the student has obtained a letter of acceptance from the Bible Institute.
Distance Learning Programme:
One certfied and one uncertified copy of your school leaving certificate and subsequent qualifications, and of trancripts of University/Technikon studies.
