There's more to theological education than most people realise.

In a three-year degree, the student will study the entire scope of the Bible, surveying all the major types of literature, such as narrative, poetry, prophecy, gospel and letter, as well as looking in-depth at key books such as Genesis, Psalms, Isaiah, John, Matthew, Romans and Revelation. The student will also learn to read, analyze and translate Hebrew and Greek, the original languages of the Bible, to take them another step closer to the authors.
Hermeneutics trains the student to interpret Scripture accurately according to context, whilst in Homiletics the student will learn to prepare and present messages that are exegetically accurate and doctrinally sound .
Church history from the early Church to the modern era gives today's student a broader perspective on contemporary theological issues.
Biblical Theology presents the Bible message as a whole narrative progressing from creation & God's purpose for mankind to the conclusion of the age.
Systematic Theology looks in detail at specific teachings (doctrines) in the Bible on such subjects as God, Man and Sin, Christ and Salvation, the Holy Spirit, the Church, Eschatology etc.
Practical courses apply the Bible's teaching to such areas as Women's ministry, Pastoral work and Counselling, evangelism and Missions.
We know that study alone will not fully train the student as he moves into the market place, mission field or pulpit. For this reason, during their time at college, BISA prepares the student for a life of Christian service through ministry exposure and missions in the church in our local community and further afield.
